Dye Sublimation
Dye sublimation is a technique that uses heat sensitive inks. These inks turn into gas under the influence of heat and combine with a polyester medium. The prints do not crack, peel off or fade even after multiple washing because the ink becomes part of the structure of the material.
Dye sublimation printing can be used on synthetic fibre fabrics or any surface to which a polymer coating can be applied, such as aluminum, hardboard, MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard), steel, fibreglass reinforced plastic, natural wood, rigid plastic, and ceramic.
